To extend the life of your handcrafted soap:

• Keep dry between uses – use a draining soap dish.

• Avoid prolonged water exposure – don’t let it sit in standing water.

• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

• Use within 6–12 months for best scent and texture.
Because our soaps are made with natural oils and butters, slight color or scent variations are normal. Enjoy the gentle, luxurious lather with every use.

Jane Marie Soaps’ handmade bar soaps are classified as “true soap” under FDA regulations (21 CFR 701.20). Our soap is made primarily of alkali salts of fatty acids (the traditional saponification of oils and lye) and is intended solely for cleansing the skin.
As such, these products are exempt from FDA cosmetic regulation, provided no cosmetic or therapeutic claims are made (e.g., “moisturizes,” “treats acne,” etc.). We make no medical or drug claims regarding our soaps.
